Budgeting And Investing
'Debt', it seems, has become the new four letter taboo word in today's commercial world. Rising global food and fuel costs have added strain to what seems to be a universal problem, that of never seeming to have enough money in your bank account because once you get into debt, it is so difficult to get out of it. What is even more frustrating in terms of this problem though, is that most people also know that it can be so easily avoided, and that with a little bit of time and effort spent on budgeting and investing your money wisely, debt should never be more than just a word in anybody's life.
That being said though, there is also a lot of uncertainty and confusion around concepts like budgeting and investing, and a lot of people believe that these two practices are best left to accountants and financial planners, to people who know what they are doing and who have the time to sit down and deal with complicated issues that arise from them. Indeed, even the mere thought of having to work out, step by step, a weekly or even monthly budget or having to sift through a seemingly endless investment portfolio that describes investment opportunities in words that are often incomprehensible, is enough to make a lot of people tear out their hair.
This is why the Financial Planning Centre have launched a series of manuals aimed at helping you to better understand the ins and outs of financial management, from issues of budgeting and investing, to retirement and estate planning and document management.
These manuals contain a range of simple tips and strategies encompassing the various ways in which you could make your money work better for you. For example, the various insights featured in the Budgeting and Investing guidebook include:
